We just wanted to update you about where we are with our Covid Vaccination programme and ask for your help moving forward.
So far in East Cornwall PCN we have vaccinated over 18,000 with 2011 Port View patients having received their first dose, this includes all Care home patients and staff and those patients that are housebound. This is a massive undertaking and we are all working extremely hard to try and get you vaccinated as quickly as we can.
Predominantly the vaccine clinics are running at Pensilva, we are also running clinics at the China Fleet club but can only do so when vaccine supply allows. This means that you might be offered your vaccine at either site, which we understand might be frustrating as China Fleet is obviously more convenient for Saltash patients, however if we contact you and offer you Pensilva, it means that this is where the available vaccine is at that time. It would really help us, if you could accept the offer we make you if at all possible.
We are working through the priority groups in strict order and when you become eligible you will be contacted by us, we ask that you be patient and wait for us to get in touch. Our team are currently being inundated with calls about the vaccine, which is not only very time consuming but is hampering our efforts to make contact with those who need to be booked.
