Clinics and Services
The clinics and services that we offer are:
Disease Management Clinics – Asthma, Blood Pressure, Coronary Heart Disease, Diabetes, Chronic Kidney Disease
We aim to provide high quality care for patients who, by the nature of their illness, require regular review with either the Doctor or Nurse to monitor progress.
First Contact Physio (FCP)
Our FCP is able to see, treat and refer patients with musculoskeletal problems without the need for you to be seen by a GP.
Clinical Pharmacist
Our Clinic Pharmacist sees patient who need medication reviews and is there to help and advice our patients with any issues regarding their medication.
Social Prescribers
Not all problems we see are medical ones, some patients have social problems that are affecting the way they feel. Our social prescribers are able to consult with any patient 16+ and will be able to direct you help within the community.
Family Planning
Please consult The Practice Nurse for advice. We provide a full range of contraceptive services and will be happy to discuss the method most suitable for you.
Stop Smoking Clinic
Please contact reception to make an appointment. Telephone consultations are available.
Minor Surgery
We are able carry out minor surgical procedures at the surgery appointments will be made as required
Substance Misuse
Dr Webster- Harrison is a specialist GP who runs clinics at the surgery to help and advice those patients who have drug and alcohol related issues.
Child Health Surveillance
We carry out babies’ 6-8 week checks at the same time as the mother’s postnatal. You will receive a reminder asking you to make a 30 minute appointment with the Doctor.
Immunisation (Children)
We believe it is very important for children to receive all their immunisations. Any doubts or worries should be discussed with the Nurse, Health Visitor or Doctor. Please make your child’s immunisation appointment with the Nurse.
Immunisation (Travel)
Travel immunisation schedules are complicated and the Practice Nurse will be happy to advise on this and Health and Safety issues. Unfortunately, we do have to charge for certain travel immunisations, which are not covered under the NHS.
